Ep.30: Kelly Brush Foundation
At 19 years of age, Kelly was a sophomore in college and was in an awful skiing accident that left her paralyzed. Today, she describes her life of resilience and how she came to create her foundation (while also being a mom) AND a pediatric nurse. Tess was the recipient of a grant gifted by the Kelly Brush Foundation that went towards a brand new hand cycle 3 years ago. If you know someone who could benefit from hearing this interview, please share it! We want people to not feel alone after life-changing injury. We want people no matter their ability to remain active doing things they love. There is always hope in creative adaptations and getting back out there with who you love is so very important!
